The essence of Christianity

The Apostle Paul summarised his message as follows in 1 Cor 2:2
"And I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."

There are 2 groups that moves in the supernatural. Shall we call them both alternatives to "Christian mysticism"? Or shall we name only occult supernatural experienceres as "Christian mysticism", dismissing the term in itself as an oxymoron and rename the non-occult experiences with God as something else, such as "Holy Spirit encounters"? Perhaps that would be wise. However it may be, the contaminated needs to be divided from the pure and there is a desperate need for that!

Group 1. The group that focusses on Christ crucified, and has a true revelation of what Jesus did on that cross and his total victory. They can operate through grace by faith in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Group 2. Then there is the group of false prophets that introduces another message, a "works based" program, denying Christ crucified or not talking about the cross at all and which function within the kingdom of darkness in white magic and occultism. They seem "good" but they are wolves in sheep clothes. They are "light bringers" of Illuminism that is very attractive to man. As Carl Teichrib puts it in his document Lucifer Rising Part 1: “Light of the World” "Once hidden within the occult priesthood of the mystery religions, the New Age Movement has now made the teachings of Lucifer available to the public. Hence, a new period of rejuvenated spiritual experimentation has taken shape. But while this new generation of mysticism is flourishing, its Luciferic doctrines are old–going back to the early days of history when a serpent claimed that mankind could “be like God” (Genesis 3:5)."

For further reference see The Tree of life, the throne room, Christian mysticism and the Global Oneness Project for the priorities of God, foundational teachings of christianity and how to move on to perfection based on biblical principles. (Know however that to get to the promised land is no "instant" process. Please refer to "Hemmed in" - Long way around to get perspective on the journey. No short cuts.)

4. The following website also states that the term "Christian mysticism" when referred to in the occultic sense as not being a form of true Christianity, and that it is an oxymoron.

5. In Contemplative Spirituality, Nicholson states that Christian mysticism plays a big role in the large increase in occultism. It is said "but please keep in mind what New Age writer Marilyn Ferguson discovered: 31 percent of New Agers she quizzed said it was “Christian mysticism that got them involved”. This is the Christian mysticism being promoted through Christian bookstores and taught from the pulpits of our church leaders throughout Christianity. "

Where the Holy Spirit and the Scripture is downplayed and thrilling experiences becomes the primary objective with no attention to discernment of truth, then people starts slipping into massive deceptions.

6. An important warning given by Chris Lawson in Defining Deception Yoga, Mysticism, New Age and the Occult

"Something important to remember is this: Casting aside the Biblical standard of divine
revelation in order to have an “experience with God” will always end in spiritual disaster. The world of pagan mysticism and the kingdom of the occult do just this. They both either reject Biblical truth outright or they cleverly redefine it in order to justify having an unbiblical “direct experience” with the divine. This is done in the name of spirituality and according to the wisdom of men, not God. It must be noted that the world of satanic deception is based on one thing Experience! Experience! Experience! People somehow think that if they have a spiritual experience it must be of God right? WRONG! "

After investigating the roots of the different streams of mindsets people are exposed to currently in the area of spirituality and philosophy one could label it as follows:

  1. Christian Spirituality (Includes biblical based Christian prophecy, Christian dream interpretation, Christian number interpretation, Christian visions beyond the grave, Christian healings and miracles, Christian angelic visitations, etc)
  2. Occult Spirituality (Includes occult channeling, occult dream interpretation, occult numerology, occult crystal healings, occult angelic (guide) visitations, etc)
  3. Christian foundational teachings (Including Christian doctrines about living the Christ life, baptism, communion and also Christian apologetics defending the faith)
  4. Theosophy (occult) foundational teachings (Including occult teachings about reincarnation, spiritual laws, hinduism, karma, nirvana, kundalini, opening of chakras and the principles of witchcraft. This would include the teachings of mysticism and gnosticism)
  5. Philosophy (“Christian” and non-christian could be split, but it is not really necessary, because in essence they are basically often the same. This is about motivational books to help one reach your goals, improve yourself, improve your circumstances, think differently (more constructively), to manage relationships and conflict)
  6. Fiction (Christian and non-christian fiction could be split, but it is not really necessary, for God can speak to a person through any story, any movie or any picture)

The Global Oneness Commitment Project and the biblical God

Is it possible to reconcile the biblical God with the God described by the Global Oneness Commitment Project? That is an important question to be honestly answered.

In a nutshell
The global initiatives steer towards global integration. There is however one area that can never be integrated and that is occultism with true biblical based Christianity. Just as darkness and light can not be integrated there is no integration possible between Lucifarianism and Christianity. The strong drive towards integration has so far managed to dim the borders between christian spirituality and occult spirituality, creating the illusion that spirituality is all the same thing.

Putting God in a box

Paula Rinehart once described how human nature wants to fit God within a spiritual box and longs to construct a picture of Him accordingly. We want a hold on God. We grab to formulas and spiritual gurus or “know-how’s” to give us more definition and we continuously strive towards tangible evidence to set us at ease that things will work out the way we want them to.

Slowly the walls of the box starts to dissolve as life happens, disappointments occur, and God seem to not stay within our mental box. This causes discomfort, confusion even deep upset and anger with God. This can be very frightening.

Someone may realize that if the thing you feared had happened, then almost anything else is possible too, and that makes one feel terribly unsafe. Out of control. And o how our human nature wants to have control.
“Can't I just return to the days when faith seemed sure and simple? Can't I just go back to where I was?” These are the kind of questions
that often gets asked. We are uncomfortable with the tentative feel of faith.

But when we reach that place, there is no going back. We find that our manageable belief system no longer works so well and the walls of the box has crumbled. God may begin to feel strangely absent, as though He has left us on our own to sort things out.

Paula says: “Yet, in reality, what we are experiencing is this pain and confusion of letting go, not of God, but of the safe, secure, confines we built to house our concept of Him. God is not a concept to be mastered, a set of prescriptions we can control. He shows Himself to be much different than we thought - more loving, more exacting, more faithful”

Her conclusion can be compared to what A.W Tozer said : “Much of our difficulty as seeking Christians stems from our unwillingness to take God as He is and adjust our lives accordingly. We insist upon trying to modify Him and bring Him nearer to our own image”. Oswald Chamber puts this a bit harsher: “If we have never had the experience of taking our commonplace religious shoes off our commonplace religious feet, and getting rid of all the undue familiarity with which we approach God, it is questionable whether we have ever stood in His presence. The people who are flippant and familiar are those who have never yet been introduced to Jesus Christ”.

What we need is more Truth about God, not to put Him yet in another box, but to reveal more of who He reveals Himself to be, by the Spirit of Truth.

Tamara Hartzell puts it bluntly by explaining how Truth becomes the sacrifice, when absolutism is out, and relativism is in; When obedience is out, and pragmatism is in: When teaching is out, and dialogue is in: When thus saith the Lord is out, and consensus of opinion is in: When using Scripture to judge right and wrong is out, and unity with tolerance at all costs is in: When the narrow way is out, and the broad way is in.

Perhaps Tamara has a point. Let us further investigate.

Over the years religious organizations, including Protestants and Catholics have put the Christian religion to shame. Brutal wars, immorality, greed, dishonesty and stiff-neck pride among leaders and organizations wearing the label “Christian” has made millions to run away from Christianity into the arms of Eastern religion gurus and teachers, who embraced them with beautiful words and promises of love.

There are no excuses to be made. The name of Christ had been dishonored. And the type of Christianity displayed at large has but very little to do with Jesus Christ, His life and what He came to establish. If one is however an honest truth seeker, we have to look past those offenses, of “so called” Christians, and give “True Christianity” in the authentic sense of what it is and was meant to be an honest look. This is what is intended to be done in this document
.
KW Kenyon put it well: "Christianity is not a religion. It is not a system of ethics. It is not a set of rules to guide man's conduct, but it is a union with Deity" If this is the truth, then surely, those living in the deepest of darkness, claiming to be “Christian” had nothing to do with Christianity, in this sense. As the God of the bible, is Holy. And to be in union with Him, could never mean to live still in such deep darkness.

“The sacred page is not meant to be the end, but only the means toward the end, which is knowing God himself”. A.W. Tozer.

The question to be asked is : Can we know God ourselves. Personally. Intimately. Or are these just words? And does the True Christian religion has this to offer? And how does this compare to what Eastern religion practices lays on the table?

The truth alone can set people free!

We have found that it is one thing to know doctrines of truth. It is quite another thing to have Truth in the innermost man.

Christianity and the Global Oneness initiative

Christianity and the Bible

As a Christian, taking the Bible as being true about everything to which it speaks, and it speaks to everything, it is the duty of the Christian believer to weigh everything against Scripture.
"When the Jews at Berea were confronted with the Gospel, “they received the word with all readiness of mind and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” (Acts 17:11) They were commended by God for examining the Scriptures themselves in order to “prove all things.” (I Thess. 5:21) Like the noble Bereans, those who desire to know the truth today will study the Scriptures to determine which Bible faithfully preserves the doctrines of the Christian faith.

2 Timothy 3:16 says “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (NKJV)

The goal of the Global Oneness Commitment Project

The details of one Global Oneness Commitment Project can be found at the website : Global Oneness co creating a happy world, http://www.experiencefestival.com/ . The Project’s goal are outlined as follows: “The Global Oneness Commitment is an eight-year project with the goal of uniting people around the globe to mutual actions in order to not only save what we have, but to transform the planet thru an increase in spiritual awareness – a new consciousness creating a joyful home for all its inhabitants and sincere respect for all forms of life. The project is synchronized with the twin Venus Transit of 2004 and 2012. It starts with the first Venus transit of June 8th 2004 and ends with the second Transit June 6th 2012”

For other sites about Golbal Oneness initiatives see Globalonenessproject.org & Care2: Globaloneness & Oneness Spirituality & Interview Oneness

Berit Kjos explains how there can be no integration between Christianity and Global Oneness in his book, Under the spell of Mother earth, 1995 “Those who are joined to Him through the cross, know His Word, and follow His ways can enjoy genuine and unbroken oneness of mind and purpose. "We have the mind of Christ," wrote Paul. If we allow Him to be our wisdom and guide, He will build a community of caring people, "likeminded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose" (I Corinthians 2:16; Philippians 2.2). Those who seek oneness through counterfeit gods, spirits or forces will eventually find the opposite: confusion instead of harmony, and hatred instead of love. The "mind" people follow will determine their destiny” He also warns Christians to prepare for persecution!

The nature of God as per the Global Oneness Commitment Project

In the article provided by the Global Oneness Commitment Project to Define the Nature of God (Definition of Metaphysics : Nature of God, By Times of India)
it is described how, since God is self-reliant and the world is a manifestation of God’s energy, we could call God: “Self-energetic Beingness”. It is also concluded by them that it is a blissful state of Being.

The important question to ask now is, is this definition of the Nature of God in line with the way He reveals Himself in Scripture (in the Bible?), or is this a man-mind definition of God? Surely the important thing is what does God think about this definition of Him. Would HE agree? Just because something sound goods or wise or impressive or soothing to the ear doesn’t make it true.

Is there any place is Scripture where God reveals Himself as “self-energetic Beingness?” There is no scripture in the bible whatsoever that reveals God as that.

It is indeed clearly stated in Scripture that God is Spirit (John 4:24), but He is not a mere force, neither is He a pantheistic totality and unity of all that exists. He is indeed distinct from His creation and is a true Person. Would the Global Oneness Commitment Project agree with this?

The Person of God, as not being a collective force, is confirmed by Scripture in many places, such as Isaiah 1:18, God has intellect “Come now, let us reason together, saith the Lord” (KJV)

God also has the ability to feel affection with one’s spirit as shown by Exodus 4:14 “And the anger of the Lord was kindled against Moses” and also in Ephesians 4:30 “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God…”.

God also has a will. He chooses a course of action. In Genesis 1:3 He says “let there be light” and there was light.

God appreciated the works that He made in Genesis 1:31 “And God saw everything that He had made, and behold, it was very good” In Isaiah 53:10 God was pleased to bruise His Son for our sin and our iniquity.
God is also creator of heaven and earth (Genesis 1:1 and Col 1:16).

He is the one that promised in Hosea 14:4 to heal the backsliding of those that turned from Him. He is a patient God. Nehemiah 9:17b “..but You are God, ready to pardon, Gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, abundant in kindness, and did not forsake them. Even when they made a molded calf for themselves, and said, “This is your god that brought you up out of Egypt” (NKJV) Surely God today still patient with so many people who made golden calves, mental constructs in their mind, and worshipped that in stead of Him, the True God.

Didn’t Scripture warn us in 2 Timothy 4:3,4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things…”

Idealism philosophy in the Global Oneness Commitment Project

In another article provided by the Global Oneness Commitment project, “Definition of Metaphysics: Idealism” by Times of India, an argument is made that everything that exists are mental and nothing can be immediately known except what is in the mind. At the end the conclusion is reached that “We can never truly judge whether something, with which we are not acquainted, actually exists!”
Again the question is, is this a valid argument and world-view? Idealism is a philosophy that emphasizes mind over matter and claiming that behind all reality is a divine mind, moving the world toward good. Christian Science has strongly promoted this philosophy and for example will argue that no sickness is real, it is only real in the mind and for decades Christian Science was the matriarch of the Mind Science family.

When we look at the philosophy of Mary Ann Borse Baker (better known as Mary Baker Eddy), we do not find a Scriptural account of who God is. As per Walter Martin it is important to remember that Eddy never believed in a personal God. Her theology only permitted an “it” for a god and apart from adoring this pantheistic impersonal deity, Eddy and her followers expounds this principle as the master key to resolve all human misery. Paradoxically, however, they deny misery exists in the first place but always try to convince anyone, who will listen, that Christian Science can remove this ‘error of mortal mind” through “prayer”. However, this prayer is not to a personal God. Eddy many times reaffirmed her convictions that prayer to a personal hindrance is not a help, but a hindrance. It seems that to them, the only true prayer is the affirmation of Principle Alertness the identification of one’s self with this pantheistic Principle.

Whenever they encounter evil they deny its reality; whenever they behold misery, they affirm its nonexistence; and even when death comes to a loved one, they simply assert that is an “illusion”, since Principle (God) is All, and “It” is good. Walter Martin exposes the deceit of Christian Science, how most illnesses “cured” by Christian Scientists are imagined illnesses that lack medical documentation and are seldom thoroughly verified by anyone other than the follower of Eddy or their sympathizer and also explains how towards the end of her life she allowed Christian Scientists the right to use anesthetics, surgery and the services of orthopedists for breaks and fractures etc. She herself also made use of doctors for her spasmodic attacks of hysteria.

It will appear that the philosophy of Christian Science and that of the Global Oneness Commitment Project with regards to the concept of “Idealism” corresponds, but this image of God and how He expects us to live can not be reconciled with Scripture and with the Biblical God. God is not pantheistic in any sense. Romans 1:25 “Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lust of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves.

who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen”
The bulk of what is typically labeled “Body, mind, soul” could be traced back to a combination of Gnosticism and Mysticism. Mysticism includes a wide range of categories. For a more detailed look at the different varieties included in this category see the website of the Global Oneness Commitment Project

It includes categories as: Aura reading, Chakra awakening, Consciousness teachings, Dream interpretation (there is also a Christian dream interpretation but it differs vastly from the occult counterfeit), Enlightenment (Illuminism), Feng Shui, Hypnosis, Karma teachings, Kundalini (False Holy Spirit), Yoga, Astrology, Palm reading, Reincarnation teachings, Occult art music and dance, occult healing (including crystal healing), Theosophy (theosophy is openly associated with the Occult)

Different forms of Mysticisms are embraced as all forming part of the category “mysticism”. There is Hindu mysticism, Chinese mysticism, “Christian” mysticism (which is not Christian in this context!!!), Islamic mysticism, Jewish mysticism (Cabbala) and Other mysticism, to make room for everybody under the Gnostic Mysticism umbrella.

This all forms part of the Global Oneness initiative, to unite all and all religions into one mysticism religion.
As indicated in the earlier diagram, that everything that relates to spirituality and a feeling of Oneness with the divine, are not necessarily from the same source. Everything that is rooted in the occult (demonic) has it’s origin from the Kingdom of Darkness
. Even when it seems to have an appearance of wisdom or an appearance of good, it has nothing to do with True Christianity, as can be seen from the testimonies provided of people being delivered out of the occult towards true Christianity by the power of the Holy Spirit. Everything that looks good is not necessarily good.In Proverbs 14:12 the bible says “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death"

C.W. Leadbeater (33 degree Freemason and Lucifarian) and Madame Blavatsky travelled together to spread the teachings of Theospohy globally.
Jesus said that He did not come to bring peace, but the Sword. A “Jesus” that is mainly interested in joining everybody into one global religion, is definitely not the Jesus of the bible, and would fit in perfectly with the goals of the Illuminati The Sword of His Word brings a divide, and separates darkness from light.

Basics of Christian mysticism

Christian mysticism: seperating truth from lie

Everything these days that is considered supernatural, or that moves away from just focussing on doctrine and rather focussing on a living relationship with God and that has any Christian kind of flavour or that refers to the bible in some way or another, seems to be labelled "christian mysticism" these days.

Now though I believe that a child of God can and are supposed to have real encounters with the living God and that we are supposed to experience Him and walk with Him personally and not aim for some doctrinal and theoretical knowledge about Him only, I know for a fact, that everything that is supernatural, or that propose truth or that propose to be wise and about encountering God personally is NOT always truth.

When a person starts opening yourself up to the spiritual world, without knowing the scriptures and without knowing the power of God (and how it differs from that of Lucifer) you are moving on dangerous ground. The enemy is a deceiving liar, that wants to counterfeit everything God does, twists it, distorts it, and subtely lure people who are hungry for God but short on truth and discernment into an ugly trap of terrible deception.

It is my heart to sound the whistle and to warn God's precious sheep of false prophets and false teachers.

God wants us to have prophecy and fresh revelation from the throne room, He wants us to have dreams and visions from Him, He wants us to speak to us real and personal, He wants us to do music and art for Him, to bring His supernatural healing to the sick, to know His thoughts, to share in Oneness with Him. He wants that. Yes. But the enemy knows that and presents something as a counterfeit, and if you don't know the real thing and if you don't know the scriptures, if you don't know God, and have walked with Him and straight want to go into the deep end of spirituality, o gosh, you are like a fragile sheep walking alone where there are many wolves that want to devour.

Let me be blunt and not beat around the bush. Prophets like Jakob Lorber, Bertha Dudde, Godfried Meyerhofen, Emanuel Swedenborg, Leopold Engel and Jakob Boehme as well as other prophets that was associated to them (that studied their work with an open spirit to learn and get impartation from them to prophecy by the "inner voice"), they are all false prophets! I repeat, they are false prophets.

There are much to say about them and the deception they bring, and I intend to write much more about them and their involvement with freemasonry, the occult, the illuminati and the global oneness initiative of Lucifer.

But let me at the same time give you names of prophets who do flow in the Holy Spirit and which truly gives the Word of God. These would include Jason Westerfield, Ana Mendez Farrell, Ivan & Isabel Allum and many of those associated to them. Now I am not saying that for any prophet we can sit back and not test anymore what they say. We need to always test any word any prophet brings whether it is of God. But these prophets know the living God, whereas the previous group (following Jakob Boehme) does not know the living God, but are doing mere channelling through demonic spirits.

For some more about this, please refer a website that discuss this in much more detail www.foundationsofchristianity.co.za

And for some examples of prophecy from prophets that are not doing occult channelling, but are filled with the Holy Spirit, see http://propheticcuttingedge.blogspot.com/2009/07/new-global-economy

Jakob Lorber and Emanuel Swedenborg's doctrines

The doctrine that is introduced by "New Revelation" writers are totally contradictory with the core message of Christianity and shows strong resemblance to Hinduism.

Swedenborgianism:

Dr. Walter Martin points out some major doctrinal deceptions in Swedenborgianism:
1. The Word of God is challenged and some books are argued not to form part of the original bible.
2. The Trinity of God is challenged.
3. Atonement for sin by the blood of Jesus is not believed on
4. The destiny of man and the path of salvation are totally redefined.

In essence all gnostic mystics and "New Revelationists" who does not hold on to the authority of Scripture as authorative to test all New revelations against will start preaching a "works based" gospel where salvation is earned through performance and will start deviating from grace and the central theme of the bible, the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Martin writes (and this would apply to Jakob Lorber and Christian mystics like him as well) "The great tragedy of Emanuel Swedenborg is that he would not submit himself and his great mind to the discipline of the Holy Spirit and the Scriptures. Because of this, and because of his deliberated preoccupation with spiritism and the occult, in direct disobedience to the express teachings of God, he was despoiled, even as Paul had warned. He was deceived by dreams and visions and the machinations of him whom the Scripture describes as the "spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience" (Eph 2:2b)

The Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry confirms this when describing Swedenborgianism as a dangerous mystical non-Christian religion. "Its denial of the Trinity and the Holy Spirit, the vicarious atonement, and rejection of Acts and the Pauline epistles clearly set it outside of Christian orthodoxy".

Lorbers Doctrine in more detail
Lorber's doctrine: salvation

1 A different message of salvation and spiritual rebirth: In chapter 10:17 of the first book of the ''Great Gospel of John'', Lorber explains the gospel of salvation as three steps. Firstly a person needs to master his flesh. Secondly he needs to purify his soul through works of love. Thirdly a person's spirit needs to be awakened from the grave of judgment. These three steps are described as the process of rebirth. In chapter 18:8 the Lord is described to explain to Nicodemus that to be born of water means to be born of humility, and only then by the Spirit of Truth, which is described to be impossible to be received by an impure spirit. This is how entry to the Kingdom of God is described to be made possible. This differs from the biblical message of salvation, as salvation is available to "whosoever believes" in Jesus, no matter how sinful their past, all because of the love and kindness of God. Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God" KJV. Paul speaks a curse over anybody that preaches another gospel (Gal 1:8,9)

In chapter 62 of the first book of the ''Great Gospel of John'', the mission of Jesus on Earth is described as to invite those from darkness to the Kingdom of love (via his message of love). Verse 9 describes that up to date, not one soul could, when she left her body, lose herself from the earth and that countless suffer in the night of the earth. It is described that when Jesus ascends to heaven he would open the heavens and in exactly the same way every person would enter eternal life. It is described that this is the task of universal reconciliation which the Messiah has to accomplish and absolutely nothing else. Jesus came to Earth, according to Lorber's writings, to bring people to the right path, through friendly and loving teaching. ("Great gospel of John V11 188:11). The 'Great Gospel' does not place emphasis on the crucifixion of Christ, nor on the blood of Jesus for the atonement of sin, but emphasizes only the teaching of love and it's adherence by followers as means to salvation. See also Heb 9:13-14 and Acts 2:33. For more about the Paul's Gospel, the gospel of salvation from a Christian perspective, see Paul's Gospel http://www.voiceofjesus.org/pb2chapter12.html

Throughout the writings, love as a performance works requirement is preached by Lorber, not love as a fruit. (Gal5:22)

Lorber's doctrine : Trinity

2. The Trinity: Lorber does not reveal Jesus as one of three in a holy Trinity. In chapter 197 of the seventh book of the ''Great Gospel of John'' it is described that within his being is two aspects. The one is love and the other is the outpouring of a flame of life. These two is then considered one. Jesus alone is considered God ([Monophysitism). And Jesus is considered to be the Father. This explanation is unscriptural. For more about the Trinity in the bible, refer to: Is the Trinity in the Bible? http://www.wcg.org/lit/god/trinitybible.htm and for more about how Jesus, the Father and the Holy Spirit, all share the same throne as One, see "How to Experience the Glory of God, fountain, river, radiance, shekinah glory! by Barry Hall" http://www.tasteheavennow.net/come_drink/glory_of_god-our_thrst.htm"

Scriptures doesn’t use the word “trinity” anywhere, but the concept are supported in many places in Scripture. For example “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all [2 Corinthians 13:14]” and
“To God’s elect. . .who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood [1 Peter 1:1-2]” Also refer to Romans 15:15,16 Paul states it was God who gave him grace to be a servant of Jesus Christ, to bring the gospel of how the heathen can be justified, and sanctified by the Holy Spirit. Jesus is the Word that became flesh (John 1:14). Jesus is the brightness of the Father’s glory (Hebrews 1) and the express image of his person.

There is only one Father (Eph 4:6). The Father of Jesus, can become our Father also, through the path Jesus (Yashuwa) opened to us through the cross, by His blood, through which the wall of separation between us and the Father is torn down (Eph 2:13-18). When we become children of God, the Spirit of the Son get’s poured out in our hearts and we also cry out “Abba Father” (Gal 4:6). Through the blood of Jesus we can have confidence to draw near to God the Father (Hebrews 10:19) because Jesus tore the veil through his flesh and made a way for us to enter in.

When Steven saw "into heaven" he saw Jesus, but he did not see the Father in physical form, "But being full of the Holy Spirit, he [Steven] gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God" (Acts 7:55). Steven saw Jesus and he saw the glory of the Father. When Steven saw Jesus He was standing—other times He sits down. Concerning Jesus, the Bible also says, "He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high." (Hebrews 1:3b). Here again, that Jesus sat down beside the "Majesty" doesn’t mean the Father has physical form.

Lorber contradicts John 15:26 and Hebrews 1 among many other biblical passages

Lorber's doctrine baptism:

3. Baptism: In chapter 23:6 of the first book of the ''Great Gospel of John'', it is explained that only one thing is necessary, and that is to adhere to the teaching of Jesus. Baptism is described as a type of washing, that has some benefits and it is described that after Jesus’ teaching many went to be baptized by John. Repentance is not a requirement for this type of baptism as is indicated in the Acts church in the biblical account of baptism. For a more detailed discussion on biblical baptism refer to: What Does the Bible Say About Baptism? - AN OUTLINE OF BIBLICAL BAPTISM, http://www.bible-truth.org/baptism.htm

Only 3 points of a long list of doctrines that totally contradict scripture from Lorber's work has been discussed here. For more see www.foundationsofchristianity.co.za

Shadows in the Old Testament

The shadows of the Old Covenant and the fulfillment in the New Covenant

The Old Testament, was a shadow of the things which were to come in the New Covenant we have with Christ. Dr. Lynn Hiles "The Revelation of Jesus Christ : an open letter to the church from a modern perspective of the book of revelations" describes these shadows beautifully

In Heb 10:7b the Scriptures tells us "In the volumes of the book it is written of Me...", talking about Jesus. All through scripture we see Jesus
He is the beginning, "first fruit" (see strongs #7225) in Genesis 1:1, Col
1:16, John 1:1-3.

In Genesis 4, we see another picture of Him, in the "first fruit" lamb offered by Abel.

His picture is seen in the ark of Noah, the pitch is the blood that covers, He is the vehicle through which the Father rescues us out of the old world. Through water baptism, we identify ourselves with His death.

His picture is seen when Isaac was rescued from death by the male lamb provided by God.
His picture is seen when the Lamb's blood was placed on the doors of the Israelites in Exodus, and when they were baptised in the Red Sea
(1Cor 10:2)

50 Days after receiving the law on Mount Sinai 3000 people died. 50 days after the true Lamb was sacrificed 3000 people were given new life on day of Pentecost. The Old Covenant letter kills, but the Spirit gives life to us in the New Covenant (Dr. Lynn Hiles "The Revelation of Jesus Christ : an open letter to the church from a modern perspective of the book of revelations", 2007, Destiny Image Publishers, Inc. ISBN 13: 978-0-7684-2435-5)

He is the Rock from which we drink living water (Numbers 20:8,Deutr 32:4, 1 Cor 10:4, John 6:35)

He is the bread from Heaven (Deutr 8:3, John 6:35, 41)

The tree of the cross took away our bitterness (Exodus 15:23-25)

Jesus is our Jubilee. The cross is the gate to Paradise. It is the way back to the garden of God
. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). Not just a portion of it. Not just a segment of it. But He is it. In Him we have everything.

Jesus is symbolised by the Tree of life spoken of in Rev 22: 1-3 "And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. In the middle of its street, and on every side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

"On the cross, in the garden, Jesus once again spoiled principalities. He beat the enemy on his own turf. He took back that which rightfully belonged to Him. He not only spoiled principalities on the cross, but He also took an old creation down into death."

"In this last garden (Rev 22) there is no mention of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and there is not a hint of the serpent's presence in this new place. In this new place, there is a river flowing out of a slain Lamb and the tree of life, whose leaves are used for the healing of the nations. This is a perfect picture of Jesus Christ. He said that He was the true vine of God...and we are the branches. The revelation of the work of the cross of Jesus Christ will restore us back into this paradise of God. It puts us back in a finished work with dominion." Dr. Lynn Hiles.

All the feasts were pointing to Christ. The Sabbath were pointing to a place of eternal rest in Him. The priests were pointing to Jesus, who are our only mediator with God now. The journey of the Israelites represents our journey as Christians, out from Egypt as slaves (out from

world as slaves to sin) through the waters of the Red sea (through the waters of baptism, being buried with Christ and rising up in a new life with Him) and daily lead by the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night (representing the Holy Spirit’s leading of the believer daily). We go through a desert place first, where Egypt are being taken out of us, and in the dryness we get to know Him and change our rebellious ways. When we are ready, we may proceed to enter into the promised land, our promised land, the inheritance that God has for every believer and also for the Church. There we will find many enemies to overcome. There we will find seven enemies, which are the seven spirits of evil, opposing the seven spirits of God. Shamah-elim gives a beautiful description of these seven enemies that each believer need to overcome in their lives (see http://shamah-elim.info/girgash.htm#The_7_types_of_evil_spirits
for more about these enemies
).

Jesus was the lamb of God that presented Himself to be inspected in Matthew 27:11-24

Participating in Holy Communion is the celebration of the New Covenant. It is not a covenant of physical circumsision, but of a circumsision of the heart, of the innermost being.

Mephiboseth’s story is another beautiful biblical story, illustrating the wonderful New Coveant which Christ Jesus has sealed with His precious blood. Please refer to the following link for more about the shadow type of Mephiboseth http://www.enduringword.com/commentaries/1009.htm

THE SIMPLE GOSPEL (GOOD NEWS!!)

WHAT GOD WANTS FOR US

To be His children: "Behold, how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!" I John 3:1a.
To be in His image: "For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers..."Romans 8:29
To be one with Him: Jesus prayed, "...that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me." John 17:21.
To be His friends: "You are my friends, if you do what I command." John 15:14 (NIV)

WHAT SIN IS
Rebellion: "Has the LORD as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice... For rebellion is as the sin of divination..." I Samuel 15:22-23a (NASB)
Lawlessness: "Everyone who sins also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness." I John 3:4.
Death: "The soul who sins, he shall die." Ezekiel 18:4.
Separation from God: "Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior..." Colossians 1:21 (NIV).

WHAT GOD DID ABOUT SIN
"...But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation..." Colossians 1:22 (NIV)

"Greater love has no one than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends..." John 15:13
"Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ... But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us... For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we will be saved by his life." Romans 5:1,8,10
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO NOW
Confess Jesus and believe: "That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." Romans 10:9-10 (NIV).
Repent (turn away from sin): "Peter said to them, "Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." Acts 2:38.

Global Oneness Project Spirituality aspect: Is it compatable with the biblical God?

Is it possible to reconcile the biblical God with the God described by the Global Oneness Project? That is an important question to be honestly answered.

Background:

Please watch this video before you continue reading http://m.youtube.com/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DYgGu782dNX0&v=YgGu782dNX0

The goal of the Global Oneness Project

The details of one Global Oneness Project can be found at the website : Global Oneness co creating a happy world, http://www.experiencefestival.com/ .

And here is another site explaining how there can not be integration between Christianity and Global Oneness http://www.crossroad.to/Books/UnderSpell/9-Oneness.htm from Berit Kjos, Under the spell of Mother earth, 1995 “Those who are joined to Him through the cross, know His Word, and follow His ways can enjoy genuine and unbroken oneness of mind and purpose.

The nature of God as per the Global Oneness Project

In the article provided by the Global Oneness Project to Define the Nature of God (Definition of Metaphysics : Nature of God, By Times of India)
it is described how, since God is self-reliant and the world is a manifestation of God’s energy, we could call God: “Self-energetic Beingness”.

Would the Global Oneness Project agree with this?

Idealism philosophy in the Global Oneness Project

In another article provided by the Global Oneness project, “Definition of Metaphysics: Idealism” by Times of India, an argument is made that everything that exists are mental and nothing can be immediately known except what is in the mind.

It will appear that the philosophy of Christian Science and that of the Global Oneness Project with regards to the concept of “Idealism” corresponds, but this image of God and how He expects us to live can not be reconciled with Scripture and with the Biblical God.

For a more detailed look at the different varieties included in this category see the website of Global Oneness: http://www.experiencefestival.com/

Everything that looks good is not necessarily good.In Proverbs 14:12 the bible says “There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death
